Lime is a citrus fruit native to South-East Asia with a green skin. Its pale yellow flesh is more sour than the flesh of a regular lemon. Its orange flesh is slightly less sour than the flesh of a regular lemon. While it is difficult to eat it due to a large number of seeds, lime is commonly juiced and used to enhance the flavours of a dish or to create a sophisticated beverage.
